Commentary Association position paper The nature and purpose of the UN System Standing Committee on Nutrition Last month and this month we have reported on the SCN crisis. What’s it all about? If the UN System needs a body to co-ordinate its work, (we say yes) is this the SCN, and if so, how can it be made to work well? If the UN System needs a multi-actor body to think about and make recommendations on world nutrition policy, (again, we say yes) how will this work? And what about industry?
